President Erdoğan targeted actor Rutkay Aziz, who advised him to listen to Mozart, as well as actor Deniz Çakır, who allegedly insulted women with scarves. Aziz had previously stated, “The President must listen to more Mozart, perhaps Beethoven. Perhaps that would be useful to him.” “To force the President of this country, whose morality and stance is well-known, to listen to Mozart and drink beer is fascism at its best,” Erdoğan replied.
Erdoğan further asserted that Çakır has insulted women with scarves by saying, “Go to Saudi Arabia” and replied to the actor with the words, “The most miserable state of fascism.” An investigation had previously been opened against Çakır with the allegation that he insulted women wearing scarves at a shopping mall café. Çakır, on the other hand, denied the claim.
